Month 2 - Back to Blogging

I know you are wondering what I have been up to. Well..Kind of busy. I have been playing a lot with my niece, Avani, and with my grand parents. I forgot to tell you that Avani came to spend few weeks with me. My grandpa went to Florida to bring her home. Since, then we have been having lot of fun.

Yesterday, I went to Diya didi's first birthday function. I was so excited that I didn't sleep at all for about 10 hours that I was there. I partied so hard that I pretty much kept sleeping for the next 24 hours. Here is a picture with Diya and my grandma -

Another picture at the party - with Avani, Poonam aunty and myma.

Priyan uncle has mastered carrying newborns (as reflected in his confident face :-)

Below is a brief video clip - Everyone had a blast!

A week ago, I made my first visit to Aurora temple, and offered my prayers. We also enjoyed the delicious lunch at the temple -

On the way back home, we stopped by at the Aurora mall. I had fun watching Avani play some games.

Two weeks ago, uncle Prateek and grandma Sawmini came to visit us from Canada. We had good time playing Wii games.

Three weeks ago, Pankaj uncle and Deepti aunty stopped by to say hello. They are my next building neighbors, but are moving a bit farther though -

Now, back to today. Pretty relaxing and fun filled Sunday -

More updates to come soon. So, please keep visiting.

Day 29 - Blogistan

In yesterday's Kellogg india business conference, Shekar Kapur (film director) was talking about how blogs are going to take over the world. He thinks that a day will come when state boundaries won't matter, and the world becomes blogistan. (similar to Hindustan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kazakhstan etc..). Just like me, he maintains his blog on a periodic basis. You can check out his blog at http://www.shekharkapur.com/blog/

On a different note, Mypa found out that 3 of his undergraduate batchmates from IITB (Manjunath, Pavan Singh, Vishal Save) are at Kellogg. Including Mypa, it's 1% of IITB 98 batch. Why does everyone want to go to Kellogg. There got to be something good about Kellogg. Isn't it?

Days 27-28: My 4th weekly birthday

It's my 4th weekly birthday. I got dressed in pink. I just realized that I never uploaded a picture in pink dress to this blog. Isn't it shame being a girl :-)

Today, I am supposed to go to Kellogg's India Business Conference with mypa. I am feeling so laaaazy..I think I will skip it. I will let mypa enjoy and learn.

Days 23-26 - Suggestions please

Hi there,
Raghav uncle suggested that I could write an auto biography using the content from this blog. I think that's a great idea. I hope he buys few copies of my book. He is rich enough to buy a million copies and make me rich.

Last couple of days, I have been having fun with my grand parents and with myma -

Today, I got my birth certificate. Now, I need to get a passport. I got two options - to get an Indian passport or to get an American passport. As we are planning to return to India at some point, I am thinking of getting the Indian passport. Any suggestions/guidance?

Day 21 - 3rd Weekly birthday

It was my 3rd weekly birthday. I celebrated my 3rd weekly birthday with my friends and family. As per Hindu tradition, 21st day is celebrated as "naming ceremony". So, my name is official now - Saahithi Reddy Peerreddy. Saahithi is the name of Hindu goddess of knowledge. I guess my parents and grand parents want me to grow up to be smart.

Thanks to all of you for joining this ceremony and for all the wonderful gifts.

You can view more photos online at my picasa web album -

During this ceremony, I found true talent of Hemanth uncle. He ensured that all my guests recovered from hard core partying. I think he should consider alternative career in messaging.

Days 17-20: Back to normal

Hi there, sorry about the delay. I know this delay has upset some of you. I also got upset last Tuesday. My paternal grand parents were supposed to fly to Chicago, but their flight was rerouted and got delayed by more than 15 hours. I was pretty mad at the airline -

Now that they reached safely to Chicago, I am feeling lot better -

Of course, I am having lots of fun with them now,
